Chris Burke will appear at the Sprout Film Festival at the N.Y.U. Cantor Film Center, 36 E. 8th St., N.Y., N.Y. on Saturday May 6,2006. The made for T.V. movie "Jonathan:The Boy Nobody Wanted" starring Chris Burke and JoBeth Williams will be shown at 12:00-1:30p.m. This film is the true story of a boy with Down Syndrome who was denied a lifesaving surgery by his own parents, only to be adopted by a foster family who fought to get him the operation. After the screening of this film Chris will be available for questions and will be presented with the "Sprout Film Festival Maverick Award".
