Chris Burke's recently completed music video, "All Walk Together," off his new album, "...Singer With The Band" will debut May 25, at Planet Hollywood (140 West 57th Street), 7:00-9:00 p.m. A portion of the proceeds from the sales of the recording will benefit Very Special Arts -- an international arts and education organization for persons with disabilities - for which Chris is Youth Ambassador.
"Producing this video was a very memorable experience," said Chris.
"I think both the video and recording communicate that everyone can be a ...Singer With The Bang. That we all have abilities."
"Chris' warmth and charm is evident in the video,." said Kara Kennedy Allen, executive producer of Very Special Arts. "And, as Youth Ambassador for Very Special Arts, he is a wonderful spokesman to spread the important educational and societal benefits of the arts for everybody."
Portions of the video were filmed in Brussels, Belgium during the Very Special Arts International Festival which featured more than 800 artists, performers, and supporters from 72 countries displaying their artistic talents. The upbeat, vibrant video features Burke and long-time friends, Joe and John DeMasi. Woven throughout the video are candid moments of Burke's friends, many of whom have disabilities.
"'All Walk Together' is meaningful, rich and diverse," says Wendy Dubit, director of public relations, Zoom Express/BMG Kidz. "The video carries both a universal and personal message, that we all walk together even though we may each walk differently."
