Chris Burke, the actor with Down syndrome best known for hIS role as Corky In the ABC-TV show
Life Goes On and his reoccuring role in CBS"'-TV's 'rouched By An Angel along with his singing group, veteran musicians and longtime friends Joe and John DeMasi will officially release their third album "Forever Friends" on Saturday, July 25, 1998 to coincide with the 8th anniversary of the
passing of the Americans .with Disabilities Act, national legislation that leveled the playing
field and opened the door of opportunity for Americans with disabilities.
An invitation only record release party is being
held on Saturday, July 25th at Restaurante
Galleria in Merrick, N.Y.
"This album Forever Friends is our best one yet", says Chris "and truly captures what the ADA is all about; friendship and inclusion." The album features such heartwarming songs as "Forever Friends", "Love,Love,Love", "Celebrate" and "The Circle of Love" as well as fun songs like "The Dinosaur Song" and "Music." "The album is ideal for the entire family" says Joe "and is really positive and upbeat." "We even included many of our friends on this album" says John "people with and without disabilities so it truly is a celebration of life, love and friendship."
Chris Burke with Joe and John DeMasi, all Long Island natives, formed their singing group over five years ago and have been delighting audiences throughout the u.S. with their inspirational music and uplifting message. Chris met Joe and John 20 years ago when he attended the Town of Hempstead's ANCHOR program for children with disabilities where they worked as music counselors.
